Load Specific image or prefab

Is there an API call that allows me to load specific resource data or prefabs from the app. I am considering storing img data on the QNX side and displaying it in Kanzi 1 image at a time.

  Please see the documentation page here on how to load images from file system under Examples section. 
   
  Same acquire call can be used to get a reference to the already loaded resources since acquire call will skip reloading the resource again once it is loaded.
