    Hi!

Could you please share the version of Figma Importer that have been used for this project? We suspect Kanzi/Figma Importer versions mismatch.

    Thanks,

    Andrii

Kanzi Version 3.9.10.98 and Figma.dll version is 3.9.7.242.
I downloaded the Figma Importer from Kanzi Hub with 3.9.10 and Win64 selected.

    Thanks!

Could you please also provide an exact Figma ID or the link to the Figma project that you were importing?

And one more idea which is brought by that weird log message at the bottom of your screenshot: could you please verify that %AppData%\Roaming\Rightware\Kanzi 3.9.10\plugins has an up-to-date shortcut to the KanziStudioImporter.dll file at KanziWorkspace_3_9_10_98\Engine\plugins\plugins-figma-importer\bin ?

    Thanks,

    Andrii

    The Project ID is: tYAQBvnd12eVq84Lp9aIsY
There is an up to date shortcut to the KanziStudioImporter.dll file in the correct location as well. I had to change the location of the plugins the day before and the importer wouldn't work at all until I updated the shortcut.

    Thanks

Could it be that you extracted the contents of the Figma archive using Windows Explorer's built-in extractor rather than another extraction tool?

No, I used 7-zip to extract the contents. I can try with a fresh install of everything to see if it works.

I also attempted to import a few other projects of my own and and the simpler ones worked perfectly, but the ones with more components did not.

I had one project that queried just fine, but once I tried to import it imported one component and then gave me this error:

The other project never finished querying and eventually Kanzi Studio crashed with an unexpected error while I was away waiting for it to finish.

I assume these issues have to do with aspects of the projects themselves not working with the importer, but just wanted to know if it is known why they wouldn't work.

    Thanks!

    Hi Mason,
Can you also please try using the Figma Importer when not connected to your company network, and provide feedback.

Nothing different when importing while not connected to our company network.

However, with the Kanzi Training Figma, importing is no longer having an issue with the shaders, but there are some prefabs that are still appearing red as if they have issues, but I am able to drag them into view and they seem fine. This is while connected to the company network and while not connected

Additionally, I saved the log file from a crash when trying to import while not connected to the company network and can send that via email if that will help.

    Hi Mason,

I’d really appreciate it if you could share the logs! If they’re too large to attach to this ticket, please feel free to send them (or a link) to my email: andrii.paltsev@rightware.com.

Regarding the red warning on seemingly functional items—you can right-click the item in question and select “Description” for more details. In most cases, it’s not a critical error but rather a warning highlighting potential limitations or specifics of the import.

    Thanks,
    Andrii
