Clicking/Tapping Through a Button/Scroll View

Hi, I am trying to test something out and need to be able tap or swipe in the same area to close a menu. Is there a way to have the same hit area of both a scroll view and a button node?

  Hi Mason, 
  The effect you are looking for can be as easy and simple as adding a Click Manipulator on the "Scroll View 2D" node, and adding a Click trigger to close the menu you are trying to close. The input manipulators menu is under the Node Components Section.
